Northeast Border Expedition
A 7–10 day borderland ride through Ba Be, Cao Bang, Ban Gioc, and the limestone roads of the far northeast.

The northeast is quieter than Ha Giang and more expansive than most riders expect: lake country, Tay stilt-house villages, karst valleys, border waterfalls, and long empty roads where the map folds toward China. This itinerary follows real northern corridors used by experienced Vietnam operators, with enough flexibility to extend from seven to ten days when conditions and rider appetite allow.
Cao Bang, Ba Be and the far northeast.
A dedicated visual route for the Northeast Border ride — Honda and Yamaha-style enduro bikes, border waterfalls, lake country, Tay homestays, and cool ridges above Lang Son.

The conditions you'll meet.
Honest filters. No fluff.
Intermediate riders comfortable with manual bikes, mountain bends, occasional gravel, and long rural days without constant services.
Moderate. The trip is less technical than hardcore routes but requires stamina and calm focus over many consecutive days.
Curious and culturally respectful. The northeast is about space, quiet, and real local rhythm rather than ticking off famous viewpoints only.
